Deal status
MOL has successfully concluded negotiations with the Serbian government regarding the conclusion of a shareholders’ agreement for the acquisition of a majority stake in Naftna Industrija Srbije a.d. ("NIS").
Assets and operations
The MOL–NIS transaction includes the Pancevo refinery. NIS also operates a retail network and holds an exploration and production portfolio, and supplies 80% of Serbia's fuel needs. The company operates petrol stations in neighboring Bosnia, Bulgaria and Romania.
Next steps
