Partnership Overview
Mitsui Chemicals and Polyplastics have entered into a contract for marketing operations of engineering plastics, specifically ARLEN® and AURUM® brands. This agreement will take effect on January 1, 2026.
Operational Responsibilities
Under the contract, Polyplastics will manage marketing activities, including customer interface, new customer development, and technical support. Mitsui Chemicals will continue to oversee research and development, manufacturing, and logistics for the products.
Future Collaboration
Both companies are exploring further opportunities to deepen their collaboration. The contract is expected to be transferred to Daicel as part of a reorganization plan by April 1, 2026.
