Project Overview

Mistra-Autex AS has commissioned ANDRITZ to supply a complete needlepunch line for its Raasiku, Estonia plant. The line will produce nonwovens for surface applications, 3D molding, and other technical materials, mainly for the automotive industry.

Timeline and Technology

The start-up is planned for the end of the third quarter of 2026. The scope of supply includes all machinery from the carding stage to the end-of-line section. The line features the patented ANDRITZ ProWin™ web optimization system in a closed-loop configuration, ensuring optimal fiber distribution and high end-product quality.

Productivity and Efficiency

This investment is expected to increase Mistra-Autex's productivity more than fivefold. The ProWin™ system reduces fiber deposits at the web edges and optimizes the CV ratio, resulting in up to 10% fiber savings and higher production speeds, providing a faster return on investment.

Order Details

The value of the order will not be disclosed, but it is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the first quarter of 2025.
