Introduction

Eastman has introduced Eastarâ„¢ 6763 Renew, a copolyester with up to 50% certified recycled content, as part of Medipack's new MEDPETG 6763 RN thermoforming film for medical packaging.

Sustainability and Performance

Eastar 6763 Renew is produced using Eastman's molecular recycling technology, which processes hard-to-recycle waste materials. This approach reduces reliance on virgin feedstocks and minimizes environmental impact while maintaining the performance of traditional packaging materials.

Implementation

Medipack has integrated Eastar 6763 Renew into its production without altering its manufacturing process or requiring additional medical certifications. This seamless transition offers a sustainable alternative with a reduced carbon footprint.

Material Properties

Eastar 6763 Renew retains the clarity, durability, and sterilization compliance necessary for pharmaceutical and medical applications, performing identically to the legacy Eastar 6763 copolyester.
