Contract Award

Maire Tecnimont S.p.A.'s subsidiary, KT – Kinetics Technology S.p.A., has secured an €80 million EPCM (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management) contract from Motor Oil Hellas (MOH) for a new C3 splitter unit at the Corinth Refinery in Greece.

Project Scope

The project aims to separate a mixture of propane and propylene from the existing fluid catalytic cracking unit to produce polymer-grade propylene, a crucial component for the chemical industry. The scope includes full engineering activities, material and equipment supply, and construction supervision services.

Construction Management

Construction activities will be carried out by subcontractors selected by the client, under the responsibility and management of KT-Kinetics Technology. The Corinth Refinery is one of the most complex refineries in Europe, processing various types of crude oil to produce a range of high-end products.
