Lypron® is a rumen-protected lysine solution designed to deliver metabolizable lysine precisely where needed to support amino-acid balancing and high performance in ruminants. It provides high and reliable metabolizable lysine to reduce reliance on expensive protein sources and to enable more flexible feeding strategies such as low-protein and soy-reduced diets. As a non-GMO solution, it supports market requirements where GMO-free production is essential.
Collaboration and manufacture
Lypron® was developed in collaboration with Sipena, a French coating specialist that will exclusively manufacture the product for Evonik.
Performance and sustainability
By improving dietary amino-acid balance, Lypron® enables more efficient nitrogen utilization and can contribute to lower nitrogen excretion while maintaining productivity. Marion Hax said the product completes Evonik’s amino-acid balancing concept and supports higher performance and more sustainable feeding strategies. Claudia Parys said Lypron® helps nutritionists optimize amino-acid supply, increase productivity, and reduce reliance on excess dietary protein.
