Leadership Change
LyondellBasell has announced the appointment of David Dennison as the new head of investor relations, effective May 8, 2026. He will succeed Dave Kinney, who is retiring after nearly 35 years with the company.
David Dennison's Background
Dennison joined LyondellBasell in 2007 and brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to his new role. He has held various leadership positions within the company, including roles in planning, commercial, and strategic functions. Most recently, he served as vice president in the Circular and Low Carbon Solutions business.
Previous Experience
Before joining LyondellBasell, Dennison worked for Eli Lilly and Co. and Albemarle Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Agustin Izquierdo, executive vice president and chief financial officer, expressed confidence in Dennison's ability to enhance investor relations, citing his extensive experience in global petrochemical markets. Izquierdo also acknowledged Dave Kinney's significant contributions to the company over the years.
