Contract Details
Lhyfe has signed a multi-year contract to supply over 200 tonnes of renewable hydrogen to a heavy-mobility sector operator. The hydrogen provided will be RFNBO-certified, meeting the European Union's strictest standards for renewable hydrogen.
Environmental Impact
This supply will enable hydrogen-powered trucks to travel more than 2.5 million kilometers, significantly reducing carbon emissions by approximately 1,700 tonnes of CO₂. The contract has been effective since 1 November 2025.
Industry Context
The agreement marks a significant step forward in the growth of hydrogen-powered heavy mobility, coinciding with the start of the SOLUTRANS trade fair. This development sends a positive signal to the sector, emphasizing the increasing role of hydrogen in decarbonizing freight transport.
