The expansion is a significant development for ChemCoast Park Brunsbüttel, influencing over 12,500 jobs in the region, with more than 4,000 directly in Brunsbüttel. The project was completed without any accidents, requiring over 80,000 man-hours during ongoing operations.
Production Capacity
In Brunsbüttel, LANXESS operates two plants, including the Vulkanox facility and a production site for a herbicide intermediate. Together, these plants produce approximately 100,000 tons of products annually, employing nearly 90 people.
