Project Overview

KT-Kinetics Technology completed the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction activities for the Rijeka Refinery Upgrade Project in Croatia. The project included a new delayed coking unit to process heavy residue, eliminate fuel oil production, and enhance refinery efficiency. It also involved revamping process units, upgrading the utility network, and implementing advanced solutions for coke handling, storage, and shipping facilities.

Challenges and Execution

The project was executed during a period marked by significant global events, including the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical tensions from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Despite these challenges, the project progressed through strong coordination and cooperation among stakeholders.

Completion Ceremony
