Agreement scope
Ketjen Corporation and Saudi Aramco Technologies Company (SATC) have executed a Joint Development Agreement to co‑develop, test and deploy next‑generation Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) catalysts and additives for Aramco’s refineries and affiliates.
Technical objectives
The collaboration targets catalysts and additives designed to increase yields of high‑value products such as gasoline and propylene while lowering the environmental footprint of refining operations. The partners intend to deliver precision‑engineered solutions that enhance refinery performance and optimize resource utilization.
Execution approach
Work under the JDA will combine Aramco’s operational insights with Ketjen’s FCC catalyst development, R&D capabilities and manufacturing experience to accelerate the development of proprietary FCC technologies through integrated development, testing and deployment activities.
Leadership views
Bob Leliveld, Ketjen CTO, said the collaboration supports development of next‑generation catalyst solutions aligned with Aramco’s operational strategies.
