Johnson & Johnson presents >25 solid tumor abstracts and new clinical data at ESMO 2026
- More than 25 abstracts from Johnson & Johnson’s solid tumor portfolio and pipeline will be presented at ESMO 2026.
- First clinical safety and efficacy data for JNJ-6143, a first-in-class oral RIPTAC small molecule for metastatic androgen pathway modulation‑resistant prostate cancer, will be reported.
- Late‑breaking Phase 3 PROTEUS substudy results evaluate perioperative ERLEADA plus ADT and radical prostatectomy versus radical prostatectomy alone in high‑risk localized or locally advanced prostate cancer.
- New RYBREVANT FASPRO data cover first‑line combinations in head & neck cancer, dermatologic adverse‑event prevention and dose‑modification analyses in EGFR‑mutated NSCLC, plus patient/physician preference data.
Programme and scope
Johnson & Johnson will present over 25 abstracts at ESMO 2026 spanning established therapies, next‑generation combinations and novel modalities across the continuum of solid tumor care, from earlier stages to advanced disease.
Prostate and bladder highlights
The company will report first‑in‑human safety and efficacy results for JNJ‑6143 (formerly HLD‑0915), an oral RIPTAC designed to tether BRD4 to the androgen receptor to disrupt cancer cell function; these data will inform dose selection for development in metastatic androgen pathway modulation‑resistant (mAPMR/mCRPC) prostate cancer. Late‑breaking Phase 3 PROTEUS substudy results will compare perioperative ERLEADA plus ADT and radical prostatectomy versus surgery alone in high‑risk localized and locally advanced prostate cancer, alongside longer‑term PROTEUS outcomes and updates on pasritamig (JNJ‑78278343) KLK2‑targeting bispecific programmes (KLK2‑comPAS, comPAS2, KLK2‑PASenger).
Head & neck and lung data
New RYBREVANT FASPRO findings include first results from OrigAMI‑4 combining subcutaneous RYBREVANT FASPRO with pembrolizumab and carboplatin in first‑line recurrent/metastatic head & neck cancer, an indirect comparison versus real‑world therapies, and several NSCLC datasets: COCOON cohort on dermatologic adverse‑event prevention with RYBREVANT FASPRO plus LAZCLUZE (lazertinib), MARIPOSA post‑hoc dose‑modification analyses, and the global MyChoice patient/physician preference study.
Platform and recent milestones
JNJ‑6143 is the first RIPTAC small molecule to enter clinical studies; the RIPTAC platform was added to Johnson & Johnson’s oncology portfolio following the December 2025 acquisition of Halda Therapeutics referenced in the presentations.
