Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has secured a contract from Heurtey Petrochem SA to provide engineering services for a new hydrogen plant generation unit at the Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) refinery in Pancevo, Serbia. The project operates under a license from Haldor Topsoe.

While the contract value remains undisclosed, the total installed cost of the project is estimated at 70 million euros (approximately US$100 million).

Scope of Work

Jacobs' responsibilities include detailed engineering services, which will be executed from their offices in India. The engineering phase of the new plant is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
