Launch and scope
INEOS Olefins & Polymers Europe has launched INEOS LowINCO₂™, a certified low‑carbon range covering olefins and polyolefins produced across its European network.
Carbon performance
The range delivers a product carbon footprint up to half of the European industry average. INEOS expects emissions to decrease further when Project ONE, a €5 billion ethane cracker in Antwerp, starts up.
Customer impact and applications
LowINCO₂™ is positioned to help customers reduce their Scope 3 emissions and lower the footprint of end products across multiple downstream sectors, including lightweight transport components, water and gas distribution pipes, medical and healthcare products, consumer technology and electronics, food and beverage packaging, and construction materials.
Portfolio context
The LowINCO₂™ range complements INEOS O&P Europe’s broader sustainability offerings, including the Recycl IN hybrid polymer range, advanced recycling capabilities, bio‑attributed products and multilayer MDO film technology that supports recyclable mono‑material packaging.
