Committee Establishment
The Standardization Technical Committee for the Hydrogen Field in the Energy Sector was established in Beijing on March 5, with approval from the National Energy Administration. The founding meeting was attended by officials from the National Energy Administration, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, China National Petroleum Corporation, and other units.
Committee Objectives
The committee aims to enhance the industry standard system, lead technological innovation, and regulate market order. This initiative is considered a significant milestone for the high-quality development of China's hydrogen energy industry.
Focus Areas
The committee has established four specialized Hydrogen Standardization Technical Committees: Hydrogen Basics and General, Hydrogen Production, Hydrogen Storage and Transportation, and Hydrogen Application. Sinopec will manage these committees, leveraging its expertise and resources in the hydrogen energy industry chain.
