Event
Asahi Kasei Advance will exhibit at Techtextil, April 21–24, 2026 in Frankfurt (Hall 12.1, booth C35), presenting 14 brands and a focus on four key material families.
LASTAN
LASTAN is an air‑baked acrylic, non‑mineral flame‑retardant fabric produced at 200–300°C with a limited oxygen index (LOI) of 47.5–50; it offers high flame resistance, good electrical insulation and a coating option that disperses sparks to suppress ignition and reduce particle ignition from venting gases.
Cubit
Cubit is a 3D warp‑knitted spacer fabric with PET face layers and connecting yarns in PTT, PET or nylon; an all‑PET monomaterial grade provides a recyclable alternative to polyurethane foam for healthcare, furniture and automotive applications.
Bemliese
Bemliese is a cellulose continuous‑filament nonwoven made from cotton linter that becomes soft when moist, offers strong moisture absorption and retention, leaves minimal lint or residues when dry, and is TÜV AUSTRIA certified for biodegradability in soil, water and marine environments as well as for industrial and home composting.
ELTAS
ELTAS are binder‑free spunbond nonwovens available in polyamide, polyester and polypropylene in ultra‑thin, low‑weight grades featuring filament evenness, air permeability and edge‑fray resistance, used across hygiene, filtration, automotive, consumer and industrial applications.
Exhibit scope
The four highlighted materials will be shown alongside ten additional material solutions at the booth.
