Genmab nine-month 2026 results: revenue up 22%, epcoritamab approved, Phase‑3 readouts positive

Key highlights
  • Revenue for the first nine months of 2026 was $3,238 million, up 22% versus 2025.
  • Epcoritamab was approved in Europe (TEPKINLY) and Japan (EPKINLY) in combination with R² for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma.
  • Net sales: DARZALEX $12,410 million (up 19%); EPKINLY/TEPKINLY $491 million (up 47%); royalties rose to $2,699 million (up 22%).
  • October topline Phase‑3 successes: EPCORE DLBCL‑2 (epcoritamab + R‑CHOP), RAINFOL‑02 (Rina‑S in PROC) and LiGeR‑HN1 (petosemtamab + pembrolizumab); two Phase‑3 CRC trials for petosemtamab initiated.

Approvals and pipeline advances

Epcoritamab received regulatory approval in Europe (TEPKINLY) and Japan (EPKINLY) in combination with rituximab and lenalidomide (R²) for adult patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma. Genmab initiated two new Phase‑3 trials evaluating petosemtamab in first‑ and second‑line colorectal cancer.

Financial performance

Total revenue for the first nine months of 2026 was $3,238 million, a 22% increase versus the same period in 2025, primarily driven by higher DARZALEX and Kesimpta royalties and increased EPKINLY net product sales. Royalty revenue rose to $2,699 million. Net sales of DARZALEX were $12,410 million and global net sales of EPKINLY/TEPKINLY were $491 million. Cost of product sales increased to $234 million, largely due to profit‑sharing payable to AbbVie.

Expenses, profit and non‑IFRS metrics

Operating expenses were $2,018 million; adjusted operating expenses (excluding acquisition/integration charges and amortization of acquired intangibles) were $1,896 million. Acquisition and integration charges related to Merus amounted to $87 million and amortization of acquired intangibles was $35 million. Operating profit was $986 million and adjusted operating profit was $1,108 million for the period.

Clinical readouts and outlook

In October Genmab reported positive topline Phase‑3 results: EPCORE DLBCL‑2 (epcoritamab + R‑CHOP), RAINFOL‑02 (Rina‑S in platinum‑resistant ovarian cancer) and LiGeR‑HN1 (petosemtamab + pembrolizumab) each met primary endpoints. The company plans to engage regulatory authorities and submit full results for medical presentations. Genmab is maintaining its 2026 financial guidance.
