Genmab appointed Margarida Duarte as General Manager, Europe and Emerging Markets to expand commercialization capabilities and prepare for upcoming product launches.
Role and responsibilities
She will lead commercial operations across Europe and Emerging Markets, with responsibility for alignment, performance and launch execution of antibody-based medicines.
Experience
Duarte has more than 20 years of international biotech leadership in oncology, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Deciphera where she oversaw commercialization across the US, Europe and distributor markets and led the transition to a multiproduct organization; earlier senior commercial roles include Alnylam, Exelixis, Onyx and Amgen.

She will be based at Genmab’s European commercialization headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, and will report to Brad Bailey, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
