Genentech unveils late‑stage oncology data at ESMO 2026
- Phase III Krascendo 1 showed divarasib superior to first‑generation KRAS G12C inhibitors in previously treated advanced KRAS G12C‑mutant NSCLC.
- Phase III lidERA patient‑reported outcomes indicate giredestrant’s improved efficacy in ER+, HER2− early breast cancer without compromising tolerability or health‑related quality of life.
- Late‑breaking Phase III data for Tam‑Peli (tambotatug pelitecan) in heavily pretreated recurrent/metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma demonstrate robust efficacy with a favorable safety profile; TAISHAN‑302 in 2L SCLC met OS, PFS and ORR at first interim.
- Genentech will present multiple late‑breaking abstracts at the ESMO Annual Meeting, scheduled for October 23–27, 2026, in Madrid.
Event
Genentech will present new data across lung, breast and other cancers at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Annual Meeting, October 23–27, 2026, in Madrid, including multiple late‑breaking abstracts.
Divarasib (Krascendo)
Phase III Krascendo 1 is the only global head‑to‑head trial comparing a next‑generation KRAS G12C inhibitor to approved first‑generation agents. Results showed divarasib’s superiority over sotorasib or adagrasib in previously treated locally advanced or metastatic KRAS G12C‑mutated non‑small cell lung cancer and will be presented as a late‑breaking abstract in a Presidential Symposium (Presidential Symposium II; Sunday 10.25.2026, 16:30–16:42 CET).
Giredestrant (oral SERD)
Genentech will present patient‑reported outcomes from the Phase III lidERA trial indicating that giredestrant’s improved efficacy versus standard endocrine therapy in ER+, HER2− early breast cancer is achieved without compromising tolerability or health‑related quality of life. Additional presentations include exploratory biomarker analyses from evERA and updated interim combination data from MORPHEUS.
Tam‑Peli (B7‑H3 ADC) and other ADCs
Late‑breaking and poster data for Tam‑Peli include interim Phase III results in heavily pretreated recurrent/metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma, analyses of interstitial lung disease from Phase I/II studies, and Phase I NSCLC data. These build on TAISHAN‑302 Phase III findings in second‑line small cell lung cancer, which met overall survival, progression‑free survival and objective response rate at first interim analysis.
