GC Signs Refinery-Group Declaration to Strengthen Governance and Transparency

Signing

GC, represented by Phornsak Mongkoltirat (COO, Operations Excellence Group), signed the “Declaration of Intent of the Refinery Group on Governance for Transparency in the Thai Energy Sector” with senior executives from six petroleum refineries.

Commitments

The declaration affirms commitments to good governance, transparency and zero tolerance for corruption, and states GC will not support business that violates laws, lacks transparency or undermines national confidence and energy security.

Participants

Attending organizations included the Anti-Corruption Organization (Thailand), Federation of Thai Industries, Thai Chamber of Commerce, Board of Trade of Thailand, Thai Bankers’ Association, Stock Exchange of Thailand and Thai Institute of Directors Association.

Objective

The joint declaration aims to raise governance standards across the refinery sector and reaffirm participants’ focus on national and public interests.
