Acquisition Completion
Evonik has finalized the acquisition of PeroxyChem Netherlands B.V. in Delfzijl, making it a fully owned subsidiary of the Evonik Group. The transaction was completed on October 30, 2015, transferring the H2O2 business, production site, employees, and customer portfolio to Evonik. The company has been renamed Evonik PeroxyChem Netherlands B.V.
Increased Capacity
This acquisition will significantly enhance Evonik’s hydrogen peroxide business, allowing the company to meet the anticipated demand in the region and improve customer service. With this addition, Evonik's hydrogen peroxide production capacity in Europe will exceed 250,000 metric tons per year. Evonik already operates H2O2 production sites in Rheinfelden, Germany, Antwerp, Belgium, and Weißenstein, Austria.
