Solar Plant Overview
Ercros has launched a photovoltaic solar plant at its Flix factory, designed to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 800 tons annually. The plant boasts a capacity of 1.8 MW and can produce up to 3,000 MWh of electricity each year.
Land Reuse and Infrastructure
The solar park comprises over 4,200 photovoltaic panels installed on land previously used for industrial facilities that have since ceased operations. This initiative is part of a reindustrialization program in Flix, focusing on the reuse of industrial land.
Investment Plan and Emission Reduction
The construction of this photovoltaic plant is included in Ercros’ 3D Investment Plan for the 2021–2029 period. It is one of nine projects under the plan's decarbonization area, aimed at reducing the company's environmental impact.
