License Awards
Equinor has been granted 35 new production licenses by the Ministry of Energy in the APA, Awards in Predefined Areas. These licenses cover the North Sea, Norwegian Sea, and Barents Sea, with Equinor as the operator for 17 of them.
Exploration and Development
The company plans to drill 20-30 exploration wells annually, focusing 80% near existing infrastructure and 20% on new concepts and lesser-known areas. This exploration is crucial for Equinor's goal of developing 6-8 new subsea projects each year until 2035.
