- The 1000 Nm³/h biomethane plant in Bavaria will feed into the local network from July 2026.
- The EnviThan plant in Bremen, expandable from 137 Nm³/h to 232 Nm³/h, will deliver by March 2026.
- The Saxony-Anhalt plant, expandable from 200 Nm³/h to 400 Nm³/h, will supply gas for the fuel market.
Project Overview
EnviTec Biogas AG has secured three new contracts for gas upgrading plants in Germany, marking its entry into the Bavarian market. These projects will be manufactured at the EnviTec site in Saerbeck.
Bavaria Project
The Bavarian project involves a 1000 Nm³/h biomethane plant in Biburg, set to feed into the local network from July 2026. The existing water scrubbing plant will be dismantled after the new EnviThan plant is operational.
Bremen Project
In Osterholz-Scharmbeck near Bremen, a 137 Nm³/h EnviThan plant, expandable to 232 Nm³/h, will be delivered by March 2026. It will inject biomethane into the Osterholzer Stadtwerke network, using dairy cattle manure and silage maize as feedstock.
Saxony-Anhalt Project
The third project in Reichardtswerben, Saxony-Anhalt, is for a Dutch dairy cattle operator. The plant will initially produce 200 Nm³/h of biomethane, expandable to 400 Nm³/h, and will supply gas to the fuel market via the Ontras network.
