Current Status

Two employees remain hospitalized following the incident. Elkem has temporarily shut down operations at both the North and South sites in Saint-Fons, ahead of the scheduled year-end closure.

Elkem's management is collaborating with local authorities to manage the situation. Both internal and external investigations have been initiated to determine the cause of the accident.
