Transaction completion
Elkem completed the sale of the majority of its Silicones division to Bluestar, following the agreement announced on 13 February 2026 and the general meeting resolutions on 9 March 2026.
Share redemption and capital
All 338,338,536 Bluestar shares in Elkem were redeemed, removing Bluestar as a shareholder; registered share capital is now NOK 1,505,514,210 divided into 301,102,842 shares with a nominal value of NOK 5 each.
Governance changes
Changes to Elkem’s Board of Directors and Nomination Committee, as resolved by the general meeting, became effective on completion and Bluestar no longer has representatives on those bodies.
