Commissioning
EcoSynthetix completed and commissioned a new production line at its Centre of Innovation in Burlington, Ontario. The new line replaces an older line the company used for North American production that had been operated by a supplier in Tennessee whose contract expired at the end of 2023.
Operations and market focus
The Burlington line is running commercial-scale volumes after an installation completed below budget. Management says the in‑house line provides greater control and flexibility as the company pursues growth in tissue, packaging and pulp verticals and in the wood composites and personal care end markets.
