DYKA Belgium invests EUR 6 million to expand Pelt plant

Project scope
DYKA Group is investing EUR 6 million to expand its production site in Pelt. The project includes construction of an additional 1,100 m² of production space and installation of three new extrusion lines for polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) pipes used in water management, energy infrastructure and utility networks.
Strategic role
The expansion is intended to strengthen the Pelt site within DYKA's European manufacturing footprint, reinforcing its role as the Group's European Centre of Expertise for PE and PP pipes and increasing capacity to serve customers across Europe.
Workforce and capabilities
Alongside new infrastructure and production lines, the investment covers technical knowledge, training and workforce development to support future growth. As Luc Tack, CEO of Tessenderlo Group, said: "Above all, this is an investment in the people of DYKA in Group. Schedule and milestone
The first new production line is expected to become operational in 2027, with the remaining lines commissioned in phases throughout that year. The official start of the expansion was marked by Luc Tack and Dennis Fransen, Mayor of Pelt.
