DuPont Water Solutions is investing millions to transform its OxyMem™ Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR) manufacturing facility in Athlone, Ireland. This investment aims to meet the growing global demand for MABR technology.

Technological Advancements

OxyMem™ was the first to commercialize MABR technology, which is crucial for secondary wastewater treatment. The investment will enhance production technology, improve product design, and increase efficiency and reliability.

Support and Training

The project includes additional training for staff at the Athlone site and is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland. This initiative will help upskill employees and support regional enterprise development.
