Groundbreaking Ceremony

DuPont has initiated the construction of a new MOLYKOTE® specialty lubricants manufacturing plant in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, China. The groundbreaking ceremony marks a significant step in expanding global capacity and enhancing customer responsiveness and regional innovation for the MOLYKOTE® business.

Operational Timeline

The new manufacturing unit is being built at the Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Park in the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone. It is scheduled to become operational by early 2027, aiming to meet the growing demand for advanced lubricants in various sectors.

This strategic investment is designed to address strong customer demand in transportation, industrial, energy, and electronics sectors in China. The plant will serve as a platform for innovation and collaboration, offering shorter lead times and greater agility in delivering next-generation lubricant solutions.
