Project Completion

TechnipFMC has completed the construction of a new ammonia production unit, named "Ammonia 4," for Duslo a.s, part of the Agrofert group. The plant, located in Sal’a, Slovakia, successfully passed performance tests in July.

Scope and Execution

The project included engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services provided by TechnipFMC. The contract, awarded in 2014, was executed by the company's operational center in Rome, Italy.

Technological Advancements

The Ammonia 4 unit is based on Haldor Topsoe’s latest technology, boasting a production capacity of 1,600 tons per day and an estimated operating life of forty years. The unit incorporates advanced engineering solutions aimed at minimizing energy consumption and reducing pollutant emissions.
