Introduction

On 14 July 2025, Croda International Plc announced the official INCI name for its advanced hair repair ingredient, KeraBio K31, as Hydrolysed sr-(Tripeptide-137 Hexapeptide-40 sh-Polypeptide-184 sh-Polypeptide-146).

Product Development

KeraBio K31 is a bio-based, vegan keratin designed to repair and strengthen hair, surpassing the benefits of animal-derived keratin. It represents a significant advancement in hair care performance for the professional salon market.
