Covestro opened a Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU) Application Development Center in Guangzhou, China, complementing TPU production in Zhuhai (which began operations earlier this year) and an R&D center in Changhua to form an integrated R&D–application–manufacturing network.

The center is positioned near South China industry clusters to serve demand from consumer electronics, automotive, footwear, paint protection films (PPF) and specialty extrusion markets across Asia‑Pacific.
