Selected Pontacol® thermoplastic adhesive film products are now shown as part of Covestro’s offering following the acquisition, expanding adhesive and functional film options for customers.
Textile coatings and demonstrator
Covestro will present waterborne, partially bio‑based and mass‑balanced polyurethane (PU) coating technologies, including INSQIN®; a concept automotive door panel developed with Marquardt Group and E Ink integrates a responsive e‑paper display behind a transparent PU‑coated synthetic surface to balance display visibility and interior haptics. Antimicrobial PU coatings combine INSQIN® with AGXX technology from Heraeus Precious Metals for enhanced hygiene in high‑contact applications.
Specialty films and flexible electronics
Dureflex® and Platilon® TPU films are highlighted for automotive interiors, high‑stress sports equipment and cured‑in‑place pipe (CIPP) systems; Platilon® films are demonstrated as substrates for flexible printed electronics and integrated electroluminescent features to improve visibility in protective apparel.

Desmopan® AIR is presented as a thermo‑mechanically recyclable TPU for cushioning and monomaterial designs; Desmopan® FLY is an ultra‑flexible, low‑viscosity TPU formulated for supercritical fluid (SCF) foam injection molding to produce thin, durable, lightweight films and textile components.
