Clariant's Board of Directors has proposed the election of Regula Wallimann and Albert Manifold as independent, non-executive members at the upcoming AGM on 1 April 2026.

Regula Wallimann's Background

Regula Wallimann, a Swiss national, is a non-executive board member and chairwoman of the Audit Committee at Straumann Group, Adecco Group, and Swissport Group. She has extensive experience in finance, corporate governance, and risk management, having worked at KPMG Switzerland for 14 years.

Albert Manifold's Experience

Albert Manifold, an Irish national, is the Chairman of BP p.l.c. and has served as a non-executive director since September 2025. He was the CEO of CRH plc from 2014 to 2024, with a focus on strategic leadership and operational efficiency.

Board Restructuring

The Board also proposes re-electing Ben van Beurden as Chairman and reducing the number of board members from eleven to eight, aiming to streamline governance and enhance strategic focus.
