Leadership Changes
Kemira Oyj has announced changes in its Group Leadership Team. Tuomas Mäkipeska has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will officially start his role on April 1, 2026. He was initially appointed on October 23, 2025, and will join the company on March 1, 2026, to ensure a smooth transition with the current CFO, Petri Castrén, who will leave by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
People & Culture Transition
Eeva Salonen, the Executive Vice President of People & Culture, is set to retire from Kemira on November 30, 2025. Ulrika Dunker, who was appointed earlier this year, will take over the role on January 1, 2026. Until then, Antti Salminen, Kemira’s President and CEO, will serve as the Interim Executive Vice President, People & Culture.
