Project Overview
CB&I has been awarded a contract by NefteGazIndustriya, LLC, through project developer MAVEG GmbH, to provide engineering and procurement services for the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar, Russia.
Scope of Work
The project scope includes early detail engineering and procurement services for multiple new process units. Key units include a 2.5 million ton per annum hydrocracker unit licensed by Chevron Lummus Global, a joint venture between CB&I and Chevron. Additionally, the project will feature hydrogen and sulfur units licensed by CB&I, along with other associated units.
Previous Work
CB&I had previously announced its involvement in providing technology and front-end engineering and design (FEED) services for the Afipsky Oil Refinery. This new contract builds on the successful delivery of those initial services.
