Catalent is investing $14 million to expand its softgel capabilities at the Eberbach, Germany facility. The expansion includes two new softgel encapsulation lines dedicated to the proprietary Vegicaps® technology, driven by the increased global demand for animal-free consumer health products. The project is scheduled for completion by mid-2020, with the new lines operational by September 2019.
