Scope of agreement

Bilfinger has been selected as Delamine’s single-source partner at the Delfzijl chemical park for engineering, installation, asset performance and access and insulation services. The contract consolidates multiple trades under one framework to reduce coordination complexity and enable more efficient execution.

Contract term and capability expansion

The agreement runs for three years with a two-year extension option. The inclusion of engineering services represents an expansion of the existing collaboration, allowing Bilfinger to support Delamine across the full asset lifecycle from early-stage design through ongoing maintenance and specialised access solutions.

Operational and sustainability measures

The collaboration includes joint productivity improvement targets and specific measures such as deploying electric lifting and transport equipment, aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing environmental impact at the site.

About the site and product

Delamine is an EDC-based manufacturer of ethylene amines, exporting to more than 50 countries. Ethylene amines produced at the Delfzijl site are used in applications including personal care, automotive coatings and construction materials.
