The product contains 80% renewable carbon (ISO 16128), is readily biodegradable and is, based on current estimates, expected to feature an A++ product carbon footprint (below 2 kg CO₂e per kilogram). BASF applies Safe‑by‑Design principles by assessing mutagenicity, endocrine activity, persistence and other hazards early in development to advance candidates with favorable regulatory and safety profiles.
Portfolio and availability
Micadelva™ expands BASF’s Future‑Proof‑Palette alongside Dihydrorosan® and Velberry®, covering floral/green, fruity/gourmand and citrus olfactive spaces.
