BASF Introduces Combined Vitamin A and D3 Product for Animal Nutrition

BASF has introduced Lutavit® A/D3 1000/200 NXT, a new vitamin formulation that combines vitamin A and D3 in a single microencapsulated form. This product is designed to offer convenience, performance, and sustainability in animal nutrition.

Production and Stability

The product is manufactured at BASF's state-of-the-art vitamin A formulation plant located at the Verbund site in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Lutavit® A/D3 1000/200 NXT is noted for its superior stability across various applications, including demanding premixes and pellets.

Shelf Life and Composition

Lutavit® A/D3 1000/200 NXT provides an 18-month shelf life under standard storage conditions. It maintains a consistent 5:1 ratio of vitamin A to D3, making it suitable for all animal species and ensuring proven bioavailability of vitamin A.
