Asahi Kasei Bioprocess will unveil the VANTIJ® SU‑VFC Benchtop at Bioprocess International East 2026. The small‑format system delivers automated, single‑use virus filtration for laboratory‑scale and process development applications and is the first benchtop‑scale platform in the VANTIJ family.
Design and capabilities
The compact platform accepts Planova™ 35N virus‑removal filters in 0.12 m² or 0.3 m² formats and extends the automation, repeatability and operator‑focused design principles of the existing portfolio while simplifying virus filtration processes. Controls include recipe‑driven software, batch reporting and data‑focused capabilities, plus guided shadow‑board setup, tool‑free tube‑set installation and intuitive connection points to support consistent execution of critical filtration steps.
Target use and availability
The system is positioned for gene therapy manufacturing to address long production timelines, regulatory requirements and operator training. BPI East attendees can view the VANTIJ SU‑VFC Benchtop at Booth 606 in Boston from September 22 to 25.
