Arkema names Laurent Tellier COO
- Laurent Tellier appointed Arkema COO effective July 1, 2026, replacing Marc Schuller.

Laurent Tellier will be appointed Chief Operating Officer of Arkema effective July 1, 2026, replacing Marc Schuller, who is retiring.

Tellier will oversee Adhesive Solutions (Bostik), Advanced Materials (including Performance Additives and High Performance Polymers), Coating Solutions and Primary Materials.
Transition arrangements
Marc Schuller will remain a member of the Executive Committee and serve as special advisor to the CEO until September 30 to ensure a smooth transition; High Performance Polymers and Fluorogases will remain under Tellier for a few months until an externally recruited successor assumes the role.
Professional background
Tellier has over 25 years of international industry experience across Asia, the Americas and Europe; he joined Arkema’s Executive Committee in February 2023 as Senior Vice‑President Performance Additives, became Senior Vice‑President High Performance Polymers and Fluorogases in September 2024, and previously spent 20 years at Saint‑Gobain; he is a graduate of École Polytechnique and École des Ponts ParisTech.
