2025 Inovyn Awards Overview

The 2025 Inovyn Awards recognized outstanding projects in the chemical industry, with 113 submissions from 27 countries, marking the most global edition in the event's history. Winners were selected by a panel of expert judges, including industry leaders and specialists.

Gold Winners

IANUS Simulation & SKZ won in the Performance & Design category for their cloud-based AI tool, KIcKER, which significantly reduces PVC profile design costs and development time by 75%. ARCUS Greencycling Technologies was awarded in the Circularity category for their ARCUS Pyrolysis Technology, showcasing effective recycling of PVC-containing plastic waste. Aliaxis received the award in the Reaching Net Zero category for Zypho PiPe, a PVC-based heat recovery system that reduces household energy consumption by up to 67%.

Special Commendation

The judges gave a special commendation to the 'My Walk made with soul' initiative for transforming hospital PVC waste into children's footwear, creating jobs and supporting vulnerable communities in South Africa.

Judges' Insights

Miguel Angel Prieto Arranz, a judge and Director of Specialty Chemicals at Cefic, highlighted the impressive quality and creativity of this year's entries, noting the challenge in selecting winners due to the high level of innovation demonstrated by the finalists.
