Ann Fairchild (54) has been appointed president and CEO of Siemens USA, effective immediately; she served as interim president and CEO since October 2025 and will oversee the U.S. business that employs more than 50,000 people and reported $24 billion in revenue in fiscal 2025.
Experience and responsibilities
Fairchild has over 25 years at Siemens, joining in 1999 in Power Generation and holding senior leadership roles across Legal and Compliance; she served eight years as general counsel of Siemens USA, overseeing legal, compliance, regulatory and IP functions.
Career background and education
Her early career included clerking for the Hon. Tommy Miller (U.S. District Court, E.D. Virginia) and working as a litigation associate at McGuireWoods; she holds a bachelor’s in commerce (finance) from the University of Virginia and a JD from William & Mary School of Law.
Boards and external roles
Fairchild is a member of the Siemens Corporation board, serves on the German American Business Council board, and was recently appointed to the board of Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP).
