Pigment Facilities Overview

Our pigment facilities are equipped to produce, distribute, and supply TiO2 products. These facilities primarily include manufacturing and distribution centers.

Production Capacities

The TiO2 production facilities and their capacities (in metric tonnes per year) are as follows: Hamilton, Mississippi, USA (225,000), Yanbu, Saudi Arabia (200,000), Stallingborough, UK (165,000), Kwinana, Australia (150,000), Kemerton, Australia (110,000), Botlek, Netherlands (90,000), Salvador, Brazil (60,000), Fuzhou, China (46,000), and Thann, France (32,000).

Production Processes

Chloride process is used in facilities located in the USA, Saudi Arabia, UK, Australia, and Netherlands. Sulphate process is used in Brazil, China, and France.

Maintenance and Provision

We maintain adequate provision for the current and near-term use of our plants and equipment. These costs are recorded as Property, plant, and equipment on our consolidated balance sheets.

Operational Risks

We utilize local power sources at each site. Notably, South Africa, where we have significant mining assets, poses distinct operational risks that could impact our business, financial condition, and results of operations.
