Project Overview

Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC) has signed a contract with Ciech Soda Deutschland GmbH & Co.KG for the turnkey construction of a crystallization plant. This project is part of Ciech S.A., a leading chemical industry player in Poland and a major producer of soda ash and soda bicarbonate in Europe.

Scope of Work

CAC will manage all phases of the project at the Stassfurt site, where Ciech Soda Deutschland is headquartered. The scope includes basic and detailed engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, commissioning, and turnkey handover. A key challenge will be integrating the new plant into the existing complex.

Technological Integration

The plant will utilize technology from GEA Messo GmbH. This advanced technology is crucial for the production of pharmaceutical-grade sodium hydrogen carbonate, which is used in applications such as hemodialysis treatment.

Production Capacity

Once operational, the new crystallization plant will have an annual production capacity of 110,000 tonnes of sodium hydrogen carbonate. This expansion will significantly enhance Ciech Soda Deutschland's production portfolio.
