Global Congress on Process Safety
Organized by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and its Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS), this annual event combines the Spring Meeting with the Global Congress on Process Safety (GCPS, now in its 23rd edition for 2027). It features multiple topical conferences and symposia on process safety (including CCPS International Conference, Loss Prevention Symposium, Process Plant Safety Symposium, PSM2 Mentoring), petrochemicals (ethylene producers, refinery processing, gas utilization, petrochemicals topical), energy transition, hydrogen safety, distillation, Industry 4.0, and related engineering topics. Aimed at chemical and process engineers plus safety professionals in the chemical process industries. Includes technical sessions, keynotes, panels, networking, and a modest exhibition/sponsorship area. Held each spring in varying US cities (frequently Houston in the past).
