Plastics in Automotive Engineering

PIAE is an annual international professional congress organized by VDI Wissensforum GmbH for plastics in automotive engineering. It features around 50 expert presentations from OEMs and suppliers, keynotes, spotlight sessions on topics like sustainability and circularity, workshops, a parallel high-voltage battery conference, a trade exhibition with 60-70 exhibitors covering the plastics value chain, vehicle displays (Auto Show), and networking events. Held for over 40 years, it addresses materials innovations, lightweight construction, design and surfaces, processing technologies, electromobility, and circular economy approaches in automotive contexts.
