BEST Annual Conference

The BEST Annual Conference is organized by BEST – Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies GmbH, a COMET competence center in Graz, Austria, focused on advancing a sustainable, climate-friendly bioeconomy. It provides an overview of ongoing project results across key areas: Bioraffineries (thermochemical, biochemical, and syngas platform technologies for converting biomass and waste into fuels, chemicals, and materials), Digital Methods and Solutions (for technology development and energy system optimization), and Sustainable Supply and Value Cycles (including recycling, market aspects, and resource recovery). The program features technical presentations, industry contributions, poster sessions, and networking. Editions are held annually in Graz, typically in September, attracting researchers, project partners, and stakeholders from science and industry.
